Tours

Ever wondered what’s REALLY going on at a dog show? Did you ever ask, “What *is* that judge doing in the show ring?” Or why did that dog go through the tunnel before he went on the see-saw? Or why is that dog’s hair cut that way? Our complimentary show tours are your opportunity to get the answers to these questions and many more, while learning the basics of this fascinating sport that we share with our pets. Our tours run every hour on the hour between 9AM and 1PM on both Saturday and Sunday, March 13 & 14, 2010. Each tour is led by a seasoned member of Seattle Kennel Club who has been involved in dog shows for decades. In an effort to cater each tour to accommodate the unique interests of our tour attendees, we limit the size of each tour to approximately 6 children and adults (total) with special consideration allowed for large families and groups in attendance. Book your free tour NOW by emailing: Tours at Seattle Kennel Club. Certificates for home school units and field trip accreditation is available but only when booked before March 10, 2010. Day-of-Show sign-ups will be available on a space-available basis (no certificates) at the Seattle Kennel Club Information Table near the main entrance.
